The team tracked requirements as tickets in Zoho Desk, but Desk had no approval step. So a manager would approve something in a chat or an email, and later nobody could find where or when. They needed one place where approvals lived, and that wrote the result back to the ticket.
The panel does one thing well. Approvers log in with their Microsoft account and see the requests assigned to them: who asked, what for, and when. They hit approve and the Desk ticket updates on the spot, with the date recorded. New requests come in automatically from Desk, and the right approver gets an email.
I worked on the backend: the approval flow, the Zoho integration and the roles that decide who sees what. I also set up the deployment on Azure, with a pipeline that builds and ships the app. It’s an internal tool, not a public product.
